Bill on khata (credit)

A khata (udhaar) bill adds the amount to the customer's balance. You collect it later.

Steps

1. Add the products as usual.
2. Press F3 and pick the customer. Khata needs a registered customer: type or pick their name.
3. Press F9 (Khata), then F12. The bill total is added to the customer's khata.

Part cash, part khata

Click Split payment, add a Cash line with the cash received and a Khata line with the rest. Only the khata part goes on the balance.
